1. An alumnus of Sainik School, Bijapur and National Defence Academy, Cdr JS Khot was commissioned into Indian Navy on 01 Jan 2013 in Executive Branch. The Officer has served onboard INS Trishul, Magar, Cannanore, Kulish prior to the specialisation in Anti Submarine Warfare and thereafter onboard INS Brahmaputra and Chukar Squadron as specialist. The Officer has assumed the charge of Administrative Officer of Sainik School Rewa on 25 Sep 2025.
2. The Officer hails from Belgavi District in Karnataka and has done his Graduation from National Defence Academy, Pune. He had pursued higher studies in M. Sc. Underwater Science and Technology at Anti Submarine Warfare School at Kochi (Kerala).
3. The Officer is a keen sportsman and plays all field games viz., Hockey Cricket and Football. He is also a keen player of Badminton and Tennis.
